Choice of batteries

Only use Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. These are the only type of consumer batteries that are able to still provide the necessary power at extremely low temperatures. The Eagle Flight Computer can be powered on either 3 or 4 of these AA batteries. Some customers even use the Energizer Ultimate Lithium 9V battery. The 9V battery, however, does not have us much power as 3 AA batteries. We recommend using AA batteries instead of the 9V battery.

Choice of micro SD card.

The Eagle Flight Computer is unable to record data to high capacity micro SD cards due to their modified file structure. Do not use a micro SD card that is larger than 8 GB. Even 250 MB is more than adequate.
